40 excited Symphonians from different business units and their family members were excited to be back again at Taman Pertanian Malaysia, Shah Alam for the second Power Biking activity this year on Saturday, 11 May 2013. Tan Sri Azman Yahya, Symphony’s GCE who is very keen to living a healthy lifestyle was also there to join in the fun with the others, cycling amidst the lush vegetation and beautiful tropical forest.
Participants not only enjoyed the beautiful views while cycling up and down the hilly trails, some of them were also thrilled by the sight of attractive sites like the paddy fields, reservoirs and traditional houses. The team ventured on a different route this time which led them to a scenic waterfall that resembled a miniature dam. The Animal Sanctuaries, Orchid & Mushroom Gardens located throughout the cycling path, provided visitors with ample fun and educational activities.
Before heading back to the main entrance to call it a day, a pot-luck breakfast picnic was held at a reservoir by the Four Seasons Temperate House. The simple picnic unexpectedly turned out to be a feast when a wide variety of breakfast items such as Roti Canai, Nasi Lemak, Mee Hoon, Traditional Malay kuih were shared with one another.
Participants really had an amazing start to the weekend, sharing the spice and zest of leading a healthy lifestyle with their colleagues.
