On Thursday, 22 November 2012 at 11am, as per Bomba requirements, a Fire Drill was conducted for Symphony House.
As the alarms sounded and the announcement of the fire drill was made by the Fire Chief; the Fire Leaders, Fire Marshals, and Fire Wardens on the respective floors led everyone to the evacuating route and ensured nobody was left in the building.
Symphonians and the building tenants evacuated the building as instructed and gathered at the assembly area situated at the open area behind Ria Café. The assistant fire wardens did a roll call for their respective floors to ensure all staffs were accounted for.
It was a successful fire drill with the help of the trained Floor Marshals. This drill helps us to understand what needs to be done in the case of an actual emergency.
